This is a powerful, but compact, trencher with a 30-horsepower Deutz air-cooled engine. It can dig trenches to depths of 60 inches. The operator can use the backhoe or trencher attachment without having to leave his seat. The backhoe can carry 1000 pounds.
The trencher is mechanically driven with an over-center clutch. The Astec 360 is a center-pivot machine that is bidirectional and highly maneuverable. It can also be fitted with a P60 cable plow that can accomodate up to a 2 inch cable at 24" deep.
An optional Hydra-borer is also available if the auxiliary hydraulics have been installed (should be ordered at the factory for cost effectiveness). The backfill blade can be raised to provide a 10" ground clearance.
The versatility of this machine allows the operator to complete jobs well ahead of estimated times.
